[LM_NET] ELEM: Name that book

Collective Brain,

One of our teachers remembers what she
thinks is a picture book (also a well known
song), which starts as follows:

"A I was walking down the beach one bright
and sunny day.  I came upon a great big box
a floating in the bay.  I scooped in out and
opened it up and much to my surprise.
Oh I discovered a  (clap, clap , clap) right
before my eyes."

She would like to discover the name and
author of the picture book (descriptions of
the song make me think Grimm). My colleague
found it memorable because she & her
classmates had to imagine & write about
what was in the box!
