Please share with me the reasons and importance of having a written technical processing policy for cataloging materials. Should the policy list specifics for different grade levels? I am especially interested in the middle school level. Any sample policies will be most helpful. As a student in an online cataloging class, I would appreciate information any advice from experienced library media specialists/school catalogers. My fellow classmates have received the same assignment, so I apologize if this message is repetitive, but I would greatly appreciate any help.
