I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. I think that the book that comes closest to what she described is “Why Christmas Trees aren’t Perfect” by Richard Schneider. I will give her all your suggestions today. Here’s the list of other suggested titles: "The Littlest Christmas Tree” by Thornton Burgess“The Little Fir Tree” by Hans Christian Anderson “The Littlest Tree in the Forest” by Barbara Fitzgerald or Wanda Caldwell A teacher in my school is looking for a particular book. She says it's about a little tree who is made fun of by the big trees in the forest. The birds and animals love it and sleep under it and in it so it gets kind of scruffy looking. A little girl is taken to the forest to find a Christmas tree by someone and is discouraged from choosing this tree because it doesn't look as good as the others. She insists that she wants it and it becomes her Christmas tree.Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thank you for any suggestions you may have.
