[LM_NET] Target: 8th grade Fiction recommendations

We have an 8th grade group of AR students who have a separate time for 
class since they are taking a math class at the high school.
To accommodate their schedule they have their class time in the 
library.   These students are higher level readers. 

 I'm looking for some titles that they could read as a group and 
discuss.  Then later take an AR test on.    I'm in need of some
suggestions for titles that would be good for discussion.    The group 
is composed of two girls and the remainder of the group are boys.
The girls could do a separate title. 

I think it would be good for they to discuss a title once in a while 
rather than just be taking AR tests.  They just finished reading
The Miracle Worker in 8th English.
