Would you like to see any changes to the ways students utilize independent checkout? How can I help you use our library resources more extensively? Would you like to participate in a library program development committee? This committee would discuss resource selection, lesson planning and special programs. Please complete the survey on the back of this note. Our library is flexibly scheduled to accommodate your instructional needs. I am a teaching resource for you and your students. Please know that you can schedule multiple library sessions to incorporate classroom skills in the library and teach units with a team teaching partner. The library is available for whole class instruction and small groups as well. As you look at the survey questions think about library experiences (here or at another school) that best met your classroom objective needs. Also, feel free to toss out new ideas so we can explore divergent teaching methods together. The library program development committee would meet once each quarter and provide teacher, parent and student feedback about our program. Meetings would be after school.
