Hello The original question was: Our district is choosing from three software programs: * Rubicon Atlas * Tech Paths * Curriculum Mapper Does anyone have experience with any of these programs? Is it good or bad? I did check the LM_NET archives and found only one hit on curriculum mapping software from October 2006. Responses are below. I was asked to post a hit. Wendy Larson, Media Specialist Farmington High School Farmington, MN 55024 ************************************************************************ ******************* 1) We use Curriculum Mapper. It is easy to use. You can copy year to year and just make changes. You can attach standards. 2) . . . we're using Curriculum Mapper in Lakeville, and it is very user friendly. It has great reporting features . . . It works fine in both Mac and Win environments. 3) We are using Rubicon Atlas. I was a member of the committee that selected the software for our district. I have found both the support and the ease of use to be excellent. 4) We use Curriculum Mapper. The teachers seem satisfied with it. 5) Our school started with Curriculum Mapper this fall. I took the training to train teachers last summer. I don't know anything about the other programs, but Curriculum Mapper is easy to use to me. The important thing is to develop a template for your school/district of what you want each map to look like. 6) The school district in which I work, Carroll Community School District in Carroll, IA, began using Rubicon Atlas at the start of the school year. . . . Our curriculum director sent our standards and benchmarks into the company and they posted them in each of our personal folders for us to link to with our various units. Additionally, we can show infusions with technology, career, and other areas. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
