Dear Christine I would urge that book reviews remain on list, not just on someone's blog.. Even though I am in Australia, I cast a quick eye over each review to see if it would be suitable and worth investigating its availability here. When I was in a school, my Amazon account got a work out but my students read more widely than the local bookshop could offer. Even if I remembered to go to your blog, it is not as convenient as having the review land in front of me, written by someone I 'know' and being able to discard or follow it through in a glance. Frederick and Toni, particularly, I thank you. I just don't know how you read so much! As well, given that literature appreciation is one of the three pillars of this job, I could never see book reviews as "cluttering up the list". They are essential professional learning.
