I was wondering if any of you have ever had a 3M Tattle-Tape Sensitizer/Desensitizer repaired. I have a 3M Tattle-Tape Model 435 that seems to have stopped working: no light, no thunk when trying to resensitize books, just a weak click. A replacement model is well over $3000, while a plain resensitizer is just under $1000. Both options are beyond my budget. I would like to look into having this one repaired if possible, but don't know who to contact. I have made an initial contact to 3M but have not received a reply. If you have ever had to have a 3M Tattle-Tape machine repaired or know anything about this would you please contact me off list?
