[LM_NET] TECH: Destiny/Follett

I use Destiny - I'm not crazy about it.   It's difficult to check out books
to a long line of students, for sure.  If you have student helpers, they
have to be super-vigilant about making sure they don't check a book out to
the wrong person, too.

One of my biggest complaints - and I am hoping they solve it soon -  is that
you can't pull up overdues/fines/books checked out for certain grade.   It's
funny, because the grade (9,10, etc.) is automatically linked but when you
ask for a report it has to be by graduating year and that has to be manually
entered, patron by patron.  It was a pain for me to do this last week, when
we had to process our senior book circ stats, in order to assess fees for
graduation.  

I guess my biggest issue, though, is why on earth our school district went
with this vendor, when the rest of our library district (cities, counties)
is on a different system.  If we had worked with them, we could've all been
on the same system and better resource sharing would've resulted.
