Hello All, We have a few girls in our High School who are blurring real life versus fantasy readings. As many teenage girls are, they're reading and loving the vampires, the witches, etc. I've heard from one of the girl's mothers that they're planning some Wicca ritual on the next full moon, and the mother is very concerned. Instead of involving the guidance counselor which would more than likely bring out the identification of the girl whose mother called the school, I was thinking of collaborating with the girls' ELA teacher on a lesson about real vs fantasy and how in most cases, they should be held to their respective sides. Any advice?Elizabeth Van Pate Media Specialist Mancelona, MI evanpate@mancelonaschools.org _________________________________________________________________ Shed those extra pounds with MSN and The Biggest Loser! http://biggestloser.msn.com/ -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
