My original target:

With the presidential election coming up this fall, I would like to add
resources about the election process. Although I do want to cover the
presidential elections, I am also interested in all levels of elected
government. I've searched TitleWave and Mackin, but there wasn't much
information. Most books were part of a series and didn't have much
information
about the particular titles. I would also be interested in DVDs. What have
you
found to be valuable, can't miss resources?

The replies:

A representative from Mackin replied offering their collection development
service. This is a free service that I have used before. Their website is
http://www.mackin.com

The magazine "Library Sparks" had a fun mock election that I did with my
students. You might look at it. You can look at it at
www.nationalmockelection.org/game/.
