PRO: Student are inevitably drawn to Google, and will probably use
Google docs more than Zoho, which would be another entirely different
site. If they're writing a paper and use internet site, they can upload
as well as search only have iGoogle up.
CON: Restrictions about age? So many already have email accounts,
maybe already through Google. And let's not forget myspace and
facebook, which has age restrictions as well - seems like younger teens
overlook that. iGoogle is as secure as they want it to be, and the
interface is something they're familiar with.
PRO/CON: Give them the presentation using both while telling them
about age restrictions...let them and/or their parents decide. Zoho
does work just like Google docs : )

Hello all, I recently showed IGoogle to my 8th graders and teachers.
One teacher took off with it and had all of her kids sign up. Later,
another teacher pointed out in the Terms of Use, you must be 18 in order
to use it.

Today, I was listening/reading the WOW2.0 chat and discovered ZOHO
Notebook. In it's terms of use, it says you have to be 13.

My question is, does ZOHO work just like IGoogle Docs? Or is it just a
place to create and share collaboratively. What is your experience with
it?Sandra Carswell, Librarian S.C. Lee Junior High School 1205 Courtney
