[LM_NET] ELEM: Do you know this book?

I have a teacher looking for a book about the following:  There's a lady who needs 
a larger house.  She goes to the town's wise man and he tells her to put animals in 
her house one by one and the house gets bigger, but then there's no more room in 
her house, so she goes back to the wise man and he tells her to take the animals, 
one by one, out of the house.  The book ends with the lady being happy with her 
house the way it is.  Does this ring a bell with anyone?  Thanks for your help!
