Thanks for mentioning that, Shonda. When you see the video, you might notice how beat up my Flip camera is. It's spent a lot of hard time kicking around in my man-purse, in my boat, school desk drawer...I agree completely: one of the best things about both camera lines is that you really don't have to worry about them. Today my Small Wonder is out on a field trip and being passed around among a bunch of 3rd graders. I personally love it because of the ease of use and the no-frills, no downloads, no set-up system. I've used it at school to quickly video students participating in activities and have been able to grab it and immediately video tape, download the video, and have it available for others in about 10 minutes (or less). As a side note: School Library Journal's Jeff Hasting did a video comparison of the Flip Video and the RCA Small Wonder digital cameras and it's available online at: http://www.schoollibraryjournal.com/flashVideo/element_id/2140172220/tax id/29306.html ~Shonda -- Shonda Brisco, BA Ed., MLIS Library Media / Technology Specialist Weatherford, TX 76086 Digital Bookends wiki / blog: http://digitalbookends.pbwiki.com http://shonda.edublogs.org/ sbrisco@gmail.com Resources for Texas School Librarians: http://txschoollibrarians.ning.com/ http://txschoollibrarians.wikispaces.com/ "Digital Resources" columnist School Library Journal -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
