[LM_NET] GEN: Email Interview Request

My name is Ariel Poss and I am a graduate student in Library Science.  I
joined LM_NET because I have an assignment that requires me to either:

Join an electronic discussion list that discusses block scheduling.  Monitor
the list for at least three weeks.  Write a short paper reporting your
impressions of block scheduling based on the list discussions.
OR
Interview three school media specialists whose schools have moved from
traditional to block scheduling.  Ask them about the effect of block
scheduling on their media center programs.  Report your findings.

I have made an attempt to contact media specialists in my local school
system who meet the following criteria: librarians who are at a school that
is currently on block scheduling AND have also worked at a school that was
on a traditional schedule.  I have not had a good response.

Right now, I don't have enough information for either assignment.  So, my
latest thought is to try to make some contacts with Media Specialists
through LM_NET.  My assignment is due on March 16th, so I am trying to make
contact as soon as possible.
