[LM_NET] Target: barcode scanners (Spectrum)

I want to purchase a second barcode scanner to use in our easy section when 
checking out to my preK and K classes. I use Spectrum 5.2, and don't expect to 
change for the next couple of years. I don't have the money to buy a scanner from 
the company. 
I checked the archives, and found a few mentions, but were at least 4 years old. If 
you have purchased a barcode scanner for less than $300 that works well with 
Spectrum, will you please send me info-dos and don'ts, pros and cons, etc.
