Crystal New York State Elementary Librarian sweet.c.m@gmail.com I have an observation this week and I was wondering if anyone had a great lesson plan for kindergarten, first, or second grade? I want to make April "library month" because we have the 13th-19th off. I have Library Lil and the Library lion to read. I was thinking of teaching to first and second graders the five finger rule. The first graders have learned a bit about fiction/nonfiction and both the second and first about ABC order, but they did not quite get it. I'm not sure if I should try again during my observation though because they may mention that we've already done it. I would love any advice or great lesson plans. My first observation did not go so well, so I would really like to impress her this time around. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
