Due to the budget crisis in California, our district is proposing major library
cuts for the 2008/2009 school year. I've already spoken in support of the
libraries at one school board meeting, and plan on doing so again.
If any of you are facing cuts for next year, I would like to know what your
district is planning, and I'd also appreciate any words of wisdom you might have
that I could use for my next trip to the school board meeting podium.
