We have a heavy black and blue lamp that I inherited from my daughter's dorm
room when she graduated in 2004. When it is turned on, the post lights up
and gives the sensation of swirling blue water. It is very relaxing to watch
it when the lights are dimmed.

"Interestingly, according to modern astronomers, space is finite. This is a
very comforting thought-- particularly for people who can never remember
where they have left things." - Woody Allen
