A local paper had an article about a company, Audible.com, initiating a service 
that would allow the down-loading of children's stories onto MP3 players. RL Stine 
visited a local NJ school to publicise the launch.
 
 
Bedtime stories now available on children's iPods
 
In March, Katz, founder of Audible.com, launched AudibleKids.com, where children 
can download books directly onto their digital audio players.
 
AudibleKids, which offers books for preschoolers on up, aims to stoke their 
interest further by offering a social networking community where they can talk 
about books with each other and with parents, teachers and even authors such as 
R.L. Stine of "Goosebumps" fame.
