I am looking for the title of a book I read in the 1980s. To the best of my recollection, it was about a girl whose mother was an author of picture books. The mother published a book for adults, much to the girl's embarrassment. I am reading Certain Girls by Jennifer Weiner right now and am reminded of this book. Any help would be appreciated. I don't think it's Fourteen by Marilyn Sachs, but it could be!
