I am the only one who see this type of posting and thinks, why in the world would I
recommend that anyone get library certification? All I see lately are library jobs
being cut right and left. I personally have lost a job to a budget cut and have had
my job on the chopping block for 4 of the 9 years that I have been a library media
specialist, in two different districts. I could never in good conscience tell
someone to pursue a field where the job is always one the first to be considered
for elimination.
Am I the only one who feels this way?
