This week I had an unusual request from our school psychologist. She was
wondering if there are any novels for teens featuring anxiety, the "garden
variety" kind (my words, not hers) that prevents kids from coming to school or
keep them visiting the nurse all day long. So many YA novels centerpiece all
kinds of situations that provoke anxiety,i.e. bullying, violence, rape,
divorce, cliques but if you can suggest any where kids refuse to go to school that
would be helpful.

Thank you,
