[LM_NET] data on troops in Iraq

I have a student who is researching the number of troops who have been
deployed to Iraq. We can find numbers of those who were there at a certain
time, but she needs to know the TOTAL number who have been there since the
beginning of the war. We've been searching the Defense and State Dept
websites, but haven't had any luck. Any ideas on where we can look?
