I work in a K - 8 school and often have word searches for the older kids on my desk 
when the littler ones come it. If anyone asks to try it, I usually say, "It's 
challenging, but you can try it." I had a kindergarten class in this afternoon and 
overheard the classroom aide tell a little boy, "Isn't that word search for the 
older kids?" He cheerfully replied, "Don't worry! I'm mentally challenged! I can 
try it!" I really needed that near the end of a tough week of standardized testing 
and assorted upheaval.
