[LM_NET] Title of book ?

Good Morning !   Can anyone help with the title of a book....I have
tried Novelist and other sites, but no luck.  It is a book from the
early 1970's and is about a group of teenagers in the Midwest who helped
out in the school library.  The librarian would have "storm tea" in the
library and play classical music when there was a bad storm/tornado
warning !  The group does an exchange student program with a school in
the Pacific Northwest...and it changes the lives of everyone involved.


I think this was a Scholastic book...but I am not sure.  If anyone can
think of the title or the author I would greatly appreciate it ! Thanks
so much !
