ORIGINAL TARGET: I'm working on a Web page for my new book, R IS FOR
RESEARCH. If you've visited my site, you know that for each book, I
always include a link to a page with a bibliography of books about
the subject(s) of the book. Well, this time, the subject is kids'
researching. I'm finding it a challenge to think of other titles
that are about kids doing research in the library. Am I just addle
brained? Are there others I should know?

RESPONSES:
I just had to add two easy chapter books to your list. I have been
blogging about one of them on SLJ and will soon write up the other.
The Sherlock Files #1 The 100-Year Old Secret by Tracy Barrett
a brand new one I just finished by James Cross Giblin Did Fleming
Rescue Churchill?

Not totally about research, but one of my favorites shows the
librarians helping with research. The boy who was raised by
librarians / written by Carla Morris ; illustrated by Brad Sneed.

An OK book == Mr. Wiggle looks for answers / by Carol Thompson ;
illustrated by Bobbie Houser.

In Wolves / Emily Grrrabbit i.e. Gravett, a young rabbit does
research on wolves to find out how to deal with one. Not a lot of
library scenes. The rabbit checks out the book and reads it.
