[LM_NET] flip videos

Dear friends....
I am looking to possibly buy some flip videos for the library.  What I want to know 
is if I can pull the videos right into MOVIE MAKER and edit them?  OR even if they 
will work with PINNACLE without attempting to change their form?
I have had nothing but trouble trying to pull into MM or Pinnacle my last year's 
purchase of a Panasonic camcorder and it's MOD files.
If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
