Hi Everyone, I regularly think about how we can teach children and teenagers to browse for books, and I have never really come up with good answers. I checked the archive and couldn't find anything. So now I'm asking: How do you go about teaching students -- of any age -- how to browse for books? How do you teach students to look at a shelf, find a title that sounds intriguing and pull it off to look at it, and be able to determine if this is something they might want to read? Or any other definition or example of browsing! Thanks in advance! I will post a HIT.
