[LM_NET] MO ONLY: Retirement

Dear Missouri LM_NETters:

Our principal came in this morning all upset about retirement. She was a
counselor until this year.
She attended a meeting yesterday and the speakers talked about proposed
changes to the retirement system so that we would pay 2/3 into retirement
and 1/3 into social security.
The problem with that is that even if we qualify for social security, at
what percentage? And we cannot draw until age 67.
Also would that affect our top earning years as the basis for our pension?

She said the speakers did not have any particulars, any answers, just jot
everyone upset.
