Our HS library had a Rockin' Election night party...probably 80 kids and 10
adults were there for the duration. They played Risk, Monopoly, Boggle,
Apples to Apples, chess, etc. while we waited for returns, which were posted
regularly on the giant whiteboard by one of the social studies teachers.
Kids also followed results online, too. The library was THE place to be for
our HS, no doubt!

Woke up this a.m. Thinking about doing 2 more fun things to promote our
library - having a "reader of the month" board, with the kid's photo and
some brief book bio (their favorites, what they are reading now, etc.) AND a
"top 10 books of the month" (from our Destiny files.) Does anyone do this
already in their school?

Thanks in advance for your replies,
