[LM_NET] HIT: verify last update to website

Thank you all for taking the time to send help as it was just what I was
looking for.  
It appears that typing in the javascript code provides the last update to
the site, not the page you are looking at.  

Here is the hit on above subject and my original question.

Does anyone know how to ascertain the last update to a website opened in
Internet Explorer by looking behind the scenes?
I know that if I open a website in Mozilla and right click the site,
then open properties;  there will be the last update noted.
It would help to pass along an easy way for students to find out the
last update on a website when they are looking for information for website
evaluation.
Thanks and hopefully I will pass along the info if someone knows how to
find it.

Then press, ENTER. The last date modified will pop up.

I believe that if you type javascript:alert(document.lastModified) into
the address bar and hit enter, a little dialog window will open with the
date and time of the last update.

I think you can do it by going to FILE>PROPERTY>GENERAL.
