Hi, I am a new media specialist on a fixed schedule. One of my goals this year is to get the classroom teachers to utilize the resources I have available~ including sending me kids to do enrichment projects with. I had my first taker!! I will be working with 4 first graders doing penguin research. I am planning to do webquests and put them on World Book Online. What I am wondering is~ does anyone have any thoughts on projects that I can do with them? We will meet 4-5 times for 30 minutes each time. The classroom teacher wants me to have them present their findings to the class in the form of a project of some sort. I am hoping to avoid written reports!! So boring! I hope you can help -- i will post a "HIT" once I get some responses! Thank you! This listserv has been a life saver for me so far this year.
