[LM_NET] Format for Student Email Addresses?

We currently use "student first name_last name@beaverton.k12.or.us" as the
format for student email addresses using our home-grown email system. 
We'd like alternative formatting ideas for student email addresses.  As
our student email system begins to be used more and more, we've become
increasingly nervous about providing that much identifiable information in
one simple address.  Using a student ID number is problematic for us
because the same number is also used as the student's cafeteria number and
library barcode.
