[LM_NET] TARGET: Countries of the world books

My ELL teacher has asked me to update my books on countries of the world to reflect 
the countries that our ELL students represent. He would like the books to include 
color photos and to be more culturally accurate than some of the older books have 
been. I agree that my country books
are badly in need of replacing. The problem I am having is that most of the books 
seem to be written on a 5-8 grade level and look it. Also, many of them are very 
short. I am in a 10-12 high school library. Do any of you know of any really good, 
fairly recent country books aimed at the high school level? Please contact me off
