Hello....
I am hosting a "books and breakfast" event in my library tomorrow morning. A
little background.....my library is on a fixed schedule~ there really isn't much of
a history of flexible scheduling. This is my first year in a primary school and I
am trying to slowly change this. I have invited the teachers tomorrow to see the
new titles I have gotten in. I have enticed them with books, FOOD (of course!),
and i also mentioned I will show them our online resources (databases, ebooks,
etc-- they had NO CLUE we have those!!)....I want to show them some webquests and
trackstar as well. Can you think of anything else I can do tomorrow while they are
here? I am going to have a slide show with pics from the library on my computer
and at the 2 computer stations I have I am going to have the online databases and
webquests/trackstar pages up. I will put out the new books and have yummy food for
them. I might play some enjoyable music.....any other ideas that will "WOW" them?
(From what I gather, they are not used to this kind of thing)

THANK YOU!
