[LM_NET] HIT: Christmas Book for MS Special Education Students

Here is my original post: 
Hi, everyone! I have a request from a middle school special education teacher. She 
wants to read her 6th, 7th, and 8th graders a Christmas story. The majority of her 
class has read "The Best Christmas Pagent Ever" so that is out of the question. She 
wants something along those same lines. I searched the archives,but couldn't find 
anything for this group. Any suggestiong? Thanks so much!  
Here are the great suggestions I received.  Thank you all so much!  
How about "The Cat Who Came for Christmas" or just Dickens' "A Christmas Carol"? 
What Child Is This, Caroline Cooney?  Many of my teachers have used this for read 
alouds and literarcy cirlces.
