[LM_NET] TAR: High interest books for 15 year old African-American male

A colleague has asked me for recommendations for a foster child who her
church is buying Christmas gifts.  He has asked for books; this colleague
assumes he is a reader (why else would a teenager ask for books as gifts)
but knows nothing about him other than that he is African -American and 15
years old and was just placed in a congregant's home.
