When I was in my library I had no problems with weeding and discarding unwanted,
unused, out-of-date
or damaged resources. In the bin they went.

But it is not the same with my personal stuff, and despite my husband's pleas to
"empty those *****
filing cabinets" before we moved interstate, I kept more than I chucked.

Now, 35 years since I wrote it as an assignment for science at Teachers' College, I
have just woven
a music and dance activity into something I am doing for a national publisher! I
knew I had written
it, I knew I still had it and I even knew exactly where to find it.

So I am glad I am a hoarder, even if it means we had to buy a house with a big
garage to store it
all!
