[LM_NET] Literary Pets

I got a Brown Headed Parrot when I was in library school. I decided to  
name him Dewey to mark the beginning of my new career. Unfortunately,  
Dewey was not a well-adjusted bird. I think he missed having other  
birds around. I added a Budgie to the household, but this did not seem  
to help. I found him a new home with a family that had other large  
birds. The last I heard, he was happy and healthy. I still have Lucy,  
the Budgie, and Arnold, a Wire Fox Terrier named by his breeder for  
the Governor of California.
