Hi everyone, Please forgive my momentary obtuseness and NOT earlier sharing the many answers that I rec'd. Please see below and again thank you to all who responded. Bill Katzenberger If you click on "view", ruler is one of the choices you can check on. Go to the VIEW ribbon and check the ruler box (it is about 1/4 the way down the ribbon.) Once you click it it should stay on. You want to go to the tab "View" then select "Show/Hide." A little box with options shows up and then you "check" the box for "Ruler." You can also change the margins when you go to the Page layout on the menu bar then see margins in the second box. I learned this by pressing F1 and typing "ruler top of page" in the search bar. The first thing that comes up is Hide/show margins. The little box in the righthand corner of your document is what you want to click to view the ruler. -- William L Katzenberger, Jr. Media Specialist Dodge Park Elementary School 3401 Hubbard Road Landover, MD 20785 william.katzenberger@comcast.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
