I got back 2 replies and a request for a hit so maybe this is not a common topic .
Or I am venturing into unexplored territory with elementary students? Anybody else
have any thoughts on the topic? Is this too soon to introduce electronic note
taking? Is there a transition from paper pencil note taking to electronic note
taking?

One suggestion was a subscription to Noodle tools and using their note taking
forms. It looks more complicated to me than I think my students could handle.

MicroSoft OneNote comes with some computers but we are a Mac school and I would
want to see the product before I invest in that software.

Another suggestion was to use PowerPoint slides to keep track of notes, with each
slide being a topic. My concern is that the final product will be a PowerPoint and
will the note taking then transfer to other projects?

Inspiration and Kidspiration look to have some possibilities but I wonder about
filling in enough details.

If you have used either Inspiration or PowerPoint for note taking, please reply
with your experience especially if you have intermediate grade students
