Dear Diane
I saw your original request but at the time, was too busy to respond.  However, 
your request was the
topic of a speech I gave at a state conference last week and I have attached that 
for you.  You will
see that your goals are highly personal because it depends on what it is you want 
to achieve.
Perhaps that is why there were few responses.  Nevertheless, you may find this 
paper useful in
helping you to start the process. 

It is attached to a separate email because I am also sending this to the list as I 
am prepared to
send the paper to those who request it, although its core was published in the June 
08 issue of
Teacher Librarian in my Strategy column.
