I have had this idea for a very long time that we (through AASL)
should create a NETWORK of LMSs who would EVERY term, guest lecture
in each local preservice education and administration program. We
could develop a shared presentation and share the work load. I think
this would go amazingly far in taking the blindfold off!

I've also been itching to comment on the general discussion as a
whole. I want to applaud Linda Martin and all that she does to make
the importance of her role transparent--as so many of us do. Those
of you who've heard me speak recently or read my new book--The
Collaboration Handbook (more about that soon)--know that I am a
passionate advocate of jumping on board the Data Express and working
WITH teachers to correct deficiencies in our students' learning and
achievement by embedding targeted skills development into our
collaborative projects with classroom and special area colleagues.

Best,
Toni (who is finding LM_NET so much more interesting than PowerPoint today :>)
