Dear Librarians:

 

I live in Harvey, Louisiana, just outside New Orleans. My family and I have
evacuated to Birmingham, Alabama. If you are interested in updates, I am

and blogging as well http://www.storyconnection.net/blog. 

 

I have many librarian friends who live in the hurricane danger zones. I pray
for their safety and hope that property damage is minimal. We are watching
national and local news (courtesy of live streaming on the laptop) and
praying for the best case scenario. I wish all evacuees peace and comfort
during these trying times. May we all be able to return home soon.
