We have a rapidly increasing number of students from Spanish speaking homes whose parents are not literate in their native language. I would like to give these parents a very basic guide, in picture form, for taking care of library books in the home. I am thinking of small, clear drawings of, say, a book being chewed by a dog with a big "X" under it, or the negative slash across it, a drawing of a book in the rain, etc. Anyone have an idea where I could locate this sort of thing, ready made? Thanks.
