My question concerned "purchase of a large screen monitor that can be connected to a computer and placed in the main foyer as a display unit. I suggested to the group that we just need a digital photo frame, that they can show pictures as a slide show. They want someting that will show more than just jpg photos in a slide show." I did find that several schools in my area use a Toshiba 42" monitor connnected to a dedicated CPS to show slide shows in the main officer area. One other person sent this information Hi! I bought vizio LCDs for our school to use with our laptops; they have been great. The media company we work with also buys vizio. At the time I bought them because vizio was one of the few brands that had a computer monitor input (not just s-video). They usually are priced well, too! We use them in the classrooms, not as an ongoing display unit... Deborah Stafford Gen. H.H.
