Hello Everyone: I hope that everyone's year is off to a good start. My request is not for me, as I am still substitute teaching, but for a lesson I have been helping my husband with. At our state fair this year there was an incredible display of miniature circuses and old circus posters. He is an art teacher and wants his students to make their own circus posters. I have been searching and searching for visuals for this project so that students will have reference points - there are very few books it seems that have been written on the subject of circus posters, let alone with the images of those images contained inside. Does anyone have suggestions for really good books his librarian could order for next year or websites that I could use this year to help his students get a visual idea of what he is looking for?? Thank you so much!
