Hi everyone, First post: I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has any suggestions on cataloging the abridged classics and other edited texts that are published in the Cambridge English Readers, Penguin Readers and Oxford Bookworms Library series. They're currently classified under various different call numbers (820s, Fiction (F), Easy Fiction(EF)) but have all been given their own shelf space, although they share it with other material which is generally classified as "Easy Fiction". I think there's a lot of room for improvement in the way this material is catalogued and organised, though I'm thinking it might be best to keep them all together on the shelf if teachers and students prefer to access them this way. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
