Friends The SITUATION: My library has some new Shakespeare books (individual titles from the Folger Shakespeare Library & Bloom's Shakespeare Library). When I was doing my copy-cat from CatExpress (OCLC), I noticed that some have a call number of 822.3 and other have an 822.33. Checking my 12th ed. Abridged Dewey, it lists 822.3 for Shakespeare. The QUESTION Could someone with a newer (or unabridged version) of Dewey tell me which number I should be using (.3 or .33) (I plan on keeping the play and the commentary together by using the 822 number and the first word of the title as the cutter (instead of Shakespeare.) Thanks so much! ~ VAN Diane Van Gorden, Librarian Baker High School Baker Middle School PO Box 659 Baker, MT 59313-0659 voice 406-778-3329 fax 406-778-2785 email: vangordend @ baker.k12.mt.us books. cats. quilts. life is good! -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
